Important changes to the Seller’s Property Condition Disclosure form

For the past eight months, the UAR Forms Committee has been working on the Seller’s Property Condition Disclosure Form. Along with updating the content of the form, the Committee has reformatted the entire form to make it much more user-friendly for sellers. Please take time to read through the form and become familiar with the changes.

Some of the main substantive updates include:

  • Questions about permits for alterations/remodels to the property
  • New sections for culinary and irrigation water (the Division of Real Estate and experts in water assisted with this language)
  • Additional questions about sewer/septic tanks
  • Additional moisture-related questions (including is the property in a floodplain)
  • Additional HOA questions
  • New section for sellers to add any other known material information
