About UAR
The Utah Association of REALTORS® (UAR) is the state-level membership organization for REALTORS® in Utah.
On April 24, 1920, 50 real estate dealers from across Utah gathered at the Commercial Club in Salt Lake City to form the Utah State Realty Association. The goal was to bring order and professionalism to the real estate business in Utah.
Today, more than 100 years later, the Utah Association of REALTORS® is one of the largest trade associations in Utah with approximately 19,000 REALTOR® members. The organization is dedicated to promoting professionalism, protecting small businesses, and advancing the right to own, transfer and use real property in Utah.
The term REALTOR® is a registered trademark that identifies a real estate professional as a member of the National Association of REALTORS® who subscribes to a strict Code of Ethics.
The UAR provides member services on a state level while nine local boards/associations serve Utah REALTORS® in their own communities.
The UAR’s headquarters are in Sandy, Utah.
