License Plate

With the REALTOR® license plate, you can advertise your business and show your REALTOR® pride — all while helping a good cause. That’s because a portion of license plate proceeds will go directly to the Utah Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Fund where the money will be used to help low-income Utahns with their housing needs.
How to order the license plate
The license plate is on sale now at all offices of the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles. Make sure to ask for the Utah Housing Opportunity plate.
Ordering a personalized plate
Plate personalization is available for the REALTOR® design, subject to DMV approval. The vanity plates may not exceed five characters in length and the combination of characters may not already be issued. Vehicle owners must request a personalized plate through the DMV.
Cost of the plate
Vehicle owners must pay an annual $30 contribution fee for the plate in addition to all other fees due when the plate is issued. A majority of the proceeds will go to the Utah Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Fund (UARHOF) where the money will be given to help people with severe housing needs.
Who may purchase the plate?
Only active REALTOR® members of the Utah Association of REALTORS® are authorized to purchase the plate. The plate is not available to other member classes of the association, and real estate agents and brokers who are not UAR members are not eligible to purchase the plate.
Provide proof of REALTOR® membership
The Utah Department of Motor Vehicles requires proof of REALTOR® membership in order to purchase the Utah Housing Opportunity plate. Please call the Utah Association of REALTORS® at (801) 676-5200 to request a UAR membership documentation letter.
