Exclusive Right to Sell Listing Agreement & Agency Disclosure (Designated Agency Brokerage)

This form is the UAR’s standard listing agreement. The listing agent should use this form whenever they are going to list a seller’s property. It gives authorization to the listing agent to represent the seller, sets clear expectations for what the listing agent will do, and helps the listing agent comply with state law.
There are two important aspects to this listing agreement: (1) it is an exclusive right to sell listing agreement, meaning the brokerage will get paid regardless of who finds the buyer; and (2) it is designed for use by real estate brokerages that function as a designated agency brokerage where only the principal broker and a designated agent represent the client.
