President – Cal Musselman, GRI, SSS

Cal Musselman is an associate broker with Golden Spike Realty in Sunset. Licensed for more than 10 years, Musselman specializes in residential real estate. He recently completed terms as 2012 president-elect and 2011 vice president for the Utah Association of REALTORS®. In 2007, he served as president of the Northern Wasatch Association of REALTORS® and received that organization’s REALTOR® of the Year award. He has held various leadership positions at local, state and national levels, including assignments on the UAR’s finance and legislative committees. Musselman holds the real estate designation of Graduate REALTOR® Institute and is a certified Short Sale Specialist. He has an associate’s degree from Dixie State College and is a graduate of the Utah Association of REALTORS®’ leadership program.

Rick Southwick is an associate broker and co-owner of Keller Williams Success Realty in South Ogden. Southwick has been a REALTOR® for 26 years and specializes in residential real estate. In 2012, he served as vice president of the Utah Association of REALTORS® and as treasurer in 2011. He also completed a term as president of the Northern Wasatch Association of REALTORS® in 2010 and has served in a variety of leadership positions at both the state and Northern Wasatch REALTOR® associations. In 2009, he received the REALTOR® Active in Politics award from the Utah Association of REALTORS®. He is also a graduate of the UAR’s leadership program and holds that organization’s Short Sale Specialist certification. Southwick is an Ogden city planning commissioner and has a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.

Ryan Kirkham is the principal broker/president for Kirkham Real Estate in Salt Lake City. Kirkham has been a REALTOR® for 19 years and specializes in single-family homes and investment properties. He served as treasurer of the Utah Association of REALTORS® in 2012 and as chair of the UAR’s Finance Committee. He has also previously chaired the UAR’s Forms Committee. In 2009, Kirkham served as president of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS® and received several Hall of Fame awards from that organization. He has served on the University of Utah’s Young Alumni Board as well as on the Utah Division of Real Estate’s Broker Pre-license Curriculum Committee. Kirkham holds the real estate designations of Graduate REALTOR® Institute, e-Pro and Short Sale Specialist.

Treasurer – Chris Nichols 

Chris Nichols is a branch broker at Prudential Utah Elite Real Estate in American Fork. He has been a REALTOR® for 8 years, and specializes in single-family brokerage. Nichols is a graduate of the Leadership Academy of the National Association of REALTORS® and is currently serving as the federal political coordinator to U.S. Senator Mike Lee.  He was dean of the Utah Association of REALTORS®’ leadership program in 2011 and served as a UAR director from 2009-2011. Nichols was president of the Utah County Association of REALTORS® in 2011 when he also received that organization’s REALTOR® of the Year award. In 2005, UCAR also honored him as Rookie of the Year. Currently, Nichols is the vice chair of the National Association of REALTORS®’ Social Media Advisory Board and regularly teaches REALTORS® how they can use social media to expand their networks.

Lori Chapman is an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Premier in St. George and has been a REALTOR® for 30 years. She specializes in second homes, resort real estate and new construction. She served as 2012 president of the Utah Association of REALTORS® and as 2008 president of the Washington County Board of REALTORS®. Chapman has actively served on committees for the Utah Association of REALTORS®, the Washington County Board of REALTORS® and the Southern Utah Home Builders Association. In 2009, she received the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Washington County chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. In 2012, she received the REALTOR® of the Year award from the Utah Association of REALTORS®. She currently serves as a director of the National Association of REALTORS®.
